2.3L engine only has an internal oil pump, inside oil pan, driven by camshaft, no sprocket for oil timing belt, only timing mark for crankshaft and camshaft gear's, timing belt tensioner and auxiliary gear's no timing marks.Hope this was very helpful.

1994 ford ranger 2.3litter timming belt broke replaced it know i have no spark and no fuel pump does the crank sensor do that

Yes, if the ignition module doesn't receive the signal from the crank sensor it won't send fire to the coils or the signal to the ecm to run the fuel pump.

Trying to put timing marks wright on a1995 ranger

Your question states both 94 and 95 for model year.
94 and 95 ranger had a 2.3L.

  1. If not done:
    1. Loosen tensioner adjusting bolt.
    1. Using Camshaft Belt Tension Adjusting Tool T74P-6254-A, pry tensioner clockwise against spring tension as far as possible.
    1. Tighten adjusting bolt to hold tensioner in released position.
  1. Align crankshaft so number one piston is at TDC (top dead center) with crankshaft key pointing straight up and circle on crankshaft sprocket (6306) aligned with notch in engine front cover (6019) .
  1. Align triangle on camshaft sprocket with triangle on inner timing belt cover.
  1. Align diamond on oil pump sprocket with diamond on inner timing belt cover.

Crankshaft alignment on 94 ford ranger? I can't find a reference point on the crankshaft gear for the timing belt, my truck will start, but the timing is severely off. HELP!

Put the harmonic damper back on with the timing pointer mounted. Rotate engine until #1 is at TDC with both intake and exhaust valves closed. Timing pointer should be very close to 0 degrees. You should find a mark on the crank gear pointing straight up toward the cam gear. Rub the gear with a rag and acetone or alcohol to remove any varnish/oil buildup. When you find the marks on the crank gear, cam gear and auxiliary shaft gear, clean them and paint them with day glo orange so you can really see them next time. I'm assuming you have the 2.3L 4 cyl. engine since you said "timing belt".

1998 FORD 4WD RANGER 128,000 MILES ENGINE LOST OIL PRESSURE OIL PUMP LOOKS GOOD NO SLUG IN OIL PAN, WHY?

Most likely your oil pressure relief valve located on in or nearby pump. Symptoms are oil pressure will drop when warmed up when idle lose all pressure eraticly giving the vehicle gas will bring back pressure and highway driving will bring pressure up until idle again.
