Question about Chevrolet Astro
There really isn't any way to bypass it other than to let the key in the run position for 10+ minutes. At that point, the light should go off and the engine should start.
As far as the problem, a dealer is really the only place that will have the proper test equipment to check it for you.
Also its possible your battery connections are loose or corroded.Clean and tighten them.
