What will keep heater fan from working( both fuses check good)?

The speeds are controlled by a resistor pack. Changing the resistor pack may restore full functionality. Volvo heater fans are notorious for squealing. Usually they are run at a speed that doesn't squeal. If it squeals at one speed, sometimes a different speed won't squeal. The resistors seem to eventually fail. They are fairly cheap to replace.

Heater fan work on low speed only

Check the speed resistor for opens. It's located near the motor. It has a plug with 4 wires going to it. The resistor itself is mounted on the fan housing so air from the fan can cool it.

My 1994 acura legend ac only works if i turn it on full blast

High speed only is caused bu a defective blower motor speed control solid state resistor. The resistor is located in the air ducting (for cooling) next to the blower motor under the dash on the passenger side of the car. Remove the lower dash panel to access the part. See picture below of resistor.
Cost for part is about $200.00

No fan control on ac and heat

check the fuse for the heater first then if that doesn't do it then you need to check the resistor unit..it is located near the fan and will have several wires on it...this part controls the different speeds for the fan and is after the fan due to the fact that it needs to be air cooled. these are not very expensive and are relatively easily changed...also, make sure the fan motor is good

Replaced alternator on 1994 ciera and now the heater fan doesn't work. any ideas?

Probably just a coincidence. Try the fan on all speeds. If it works on some, but not all, then the resistor module is at fault.
If it doesn't work on any speed then it could be a fuse, the resistor module, the blower itself, or the heater control. You will need to dig in further to narrow down the search. I would test the fuse, i.e. make sure you have power to the heater switch/control first.

How to fix heater wont work in 1994 buick lesabre

It may be a fan resistor if the fan is not working or only working on one speed, the fan ressitor is about $40.00 and is usually located under the glove box on the heater box, look for the plug that goes to the resistor unscrew the hold down bolts unplug the old switch and install the new one.
