Question about 1997 Dodge Neon
I looked for recalls for your model but there were none relating to your issue. You do not have a Grand Caravan right?I did notice that the powertrain had a lifetime limited warranty. Are you the original owner? If you are,I would get on the phone with the manager of the dealer you bought it from and find out exactly what limited lifetime covers. If he won't help you do anything about it,I wouldalso tell him that you have contacted a lawyer and he suggested if they dealer doesn't do something,we will pursue this legally.I have done that before and gotten results, but I had actually talked to a lawyer, just briefed him so I had a name if they asked.I would call Dodge corporate and whoever answers the phone,I would ask to speak to their boss.I would at least like to know if you're the original owner.Good luck!
