Good Morning, unfortunately there is no easy way around that job. You have to raise and support the vehicle, remove the wheel and tire, and then take off the cover in front of the battery. Then undo the hold down and battery cables and pull it straight out. I never thought that changing a battery would ever become such a complicated thing, however they put them under back seats and in trunks too so it really is not all that bad. Hope this is Helpful and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Drain plug for transmission on a 4 cyl dodge stratus automatic 2001

I do not have a Dodge Stratus, however, I have owned more than 20 vehicles. None of them had a drain plug for the transmission. The reason for this is transmission oil is normally good for many many miles. When it is time to change it, the manufacturer wants you to remove the oil pan, clean it, change the filter and adjust the bands as may be necessary. No oil plug means you have to remove the pan + there is never a leak as a result of no plug.

How do i change the battery in a 2005 dodge stratus

You need to remove the left front tire. Remove the plastic keepers on the panel that you see there inside the wheel well, the battery is behind that panel, disconnect the negative post cable 1st then the positive and then the retainer block and slide the battery straight out and back

Where is the battery on a dodge status?

The battery is located near the driver's side front tire, directly under the jumper points in the engine. You will have to put the car on jacks, and remove the tire and wheel well cover to get to it.

How do i remove the steering wheel?

Should be able to disconnect the battery negative. Unbolt the air bag carefully, do not drop. Unbolt the center bolt in the steering wheel, get yourself a steering wheel puller, and pull it off.

I have dodge stratus 2001 and I need to change the battery i couldn't find where it is

Front driver's side, black plastic panel towards the front of the driver's side fender. Jack the car and take the wheel off. There are 5 fastners that are there that need to be rotated counter-clockwise a quarter turn. Wiggle that panel out....there's the battery. A bracket keeps it in place, one bolt, one nut. Remove that and the battery slides right out. It is easier to remove it by taking off the tire but you CAN remove the battery with the wheel on. Just turn the wheels all the way to the right, like a hard right hand turn.
