The radio/cassette player in my 1997 Ford F-150 has a power knob that won't stay pushed in. Sometimes, the power to the radio won't turn off even with the knob held in. Is there a DIY fix that a person...

push on power knobs for radios are a two operation switch. push in to turn on and then push in to turn off. The switch is like a rocker switch in operation. the knob will not stay in once the radio is on as it has to be in an out position so that you can push it in again to turn it off.
