its probably not the lighter itself, it's probably lost power. check the fuse for the cig lighter and see if blown. if it is, replace. if it blows immediately you have a dead short. if not, pay attention to when it stops working. could be a problem with whatever you are plugging in, or something else on the circuit

Check for un-isulated connection on the hot wire lead. It might have been after-market but on mine the connection would short out, blowing a fuse. 1 inch of heat shrink tube fixed the problem.

Its 20amp fuse in the fuse box on the side of the dash board on the drivers side.-------
Fuse number 31.Just see for 20 amp fuse in the fuse box.----- on the far left of the instrument panel.
You have to open the drivers door to see it.
On the very end of the instrument panel is a small plastic cover. You must pull at the bottom and the cover will pop off.Its #31 on the R side of the fuse panel, and requires a 20 amp yellow. ----------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
