Question about 2004 Dodge Stratus
Get the dealer to sort it out and you want a replacement car in the mean time till its fixed ,dealers responsibility ,if its on finance then its also the finance companys problem because a vicasious agreement exists between the dealer and the finance company .sounds like a gearbox fault to me so insist of a factory replacement gearbox ,or another car and this time get a manual diesel one like a focus or a peugeot ,VW are good too ,mega miles to the gallon and low road tax because of the lower emmisions .
