Question about 1999 Saab 9-5
According to the following link:
I consider it is not bad since what you get equal to 3.83 gal/62 mile or 16.1 mile/gal. I'm sure you have replace air filter as well as the spark plugs regulary. The symptom is that you don't have caorrect air to fuel ratio of 14.6 to have the optimized combustion. Either fuel is too rich or too lean compared to avaoilable air intake. I would check out Air Mass Flow meter, Electronic Throttle body and the pedal position sensor to address the problem. Good luck.
