Question about 1993 Subaru Legacy
Or an o2 sensor. Take it in to a mechanic for a diagnostic. the computer will tell you exactly what the problem is. You used to be able to rent them and do it yourself at auto parts stores, but where I live (CA bay area) you can't anymore. Lots of places apply the diagnostic fee to the repair costs. Make some calls and shoo proud first. It definitely won't turn off on its own though.
