Question about 1992 Mazda 323

1 Answer

My left turn signal has stopped working. When I turn it on it clicks as normal, but about twice as fast as usual, but the arrow light by the speedometer does nothing. I have checked all the fuses and bulbs, and no problems there. Any ideas?

The faster clicking is the cars way of telling you that you have a burned out bulb in the system. So if both front and rear blinkers are good and the dash "bulb" is not, then you'll have to pull the speedo and replace bulb on the back. simple test would be to swap the right bulb into the left socket and vise versa and test!

Turn signals and Hazard no longer work

Fast clicking is caused by a higher than normal current being applied. Normally a short or a aftermarket relay that requires less current to switch. Sounds like the entire multifunction switch is bad.

99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

Front turning light does not work, i replaced the bulb, and when i turn the truning signal does not turn off.

Sounds like you have a bad ground. Follow the wiring harnesses under the hood and in the trunk, there should be a ground wire going to the chassis or to the body. If they are all clean and tight, you might be looking at a bad light socket.

Left turn signal blinks fast in rear and regular in front

Very simple the bulb is out. When the blinker does that its telling you the bulb needs to be replaced

Left turn signal beeps very fast and signal light not working, now is working fine and so is signal light

When your turn signal goes out it tends to blink VERY rapidly before burning out, It's a nice way to let you know before hand that you need to replace the bulb soon.
