Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Valve - Circuit Malfunction
Problem Area:
Wiring, or VSV connector loose or detached.
Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve.

Here's code P0443.Here's code P1682.Here's code U2100.

Code 443 is a problem with the EVAP canister purge control valve.
The computer can not purge the vapors in the gas tank to the canister because the valve is not functional.
The valve and the circuit would need to be tested.

Bring it to auto zone to get it scanned to see what the code and definition is. could be one or more codes and there are thousands of codes

The check engine light comes ON.This light comes because there is any error code saved in cars computer.In this case the car needs to be scanned.You can get your car scanned at car diagnostic center like www.autozone.com or at your local car garage. have scanned most auto stores such as auto zone / advanced auto[check ur local area ]offer this service for free the code will advise u of what ur problem is -as for the chevy have that done also -if light only and no codes possible computer problem== the computer when there is a problem or a part going bad will store a code and pop a trouble light [abs-battery-check engine-etc] and using the scanner is how u get the code

maybe a fuse is blown? did you have the mechanic check the fuses? or even check all your relays and wiring?
