The fuse panel diagram is in the owners manual. If no manual is available, type into your browser your "vehicle year and make" and "fuse box diagram" it will direct you to a page of different diagrams. Find the one that meets your needs.
Check the disc brake pad thickness ( both sides of each rotor ) there is a small metal bit that when the pads are unsafe the bit scratches on the rotor to let you know to replace the pads.

The fuel filter is located on the drivers side of the car about halfway between the front and back wheel. Look just underneath the doors and follow the fuel line until you run into the filter.
You just need a couple of crescent wrenches to remove it. While you have the fuel filter off, turn the ignition on but dont crank the car then have a look to see if any fuel sprayed out. Put a rubber hose over the end going into some kind of container if you want to be neat about it. Just to be sure the fuel pump is working.
you need to look under the rear of the car and look for air lines to the shocks, or simply call the GM dealer and give them your serial number and they will tell you what was on the build sheet.
If you do not have a guage in the instrument cluster then it is going to be a light. The light will be red or orange and shaped like a little thermostat. When you turn the key to the on position it should iluminate briefly before starting the car. If it does not then you may have bulb out in the cluster.
