Drivers window not working

depends if it is an power window as it could be a bad fuse, relay, switch, connection, wire broken or the power window motor. each needs to be checked out. if its a manual window it could be the window regulator that is bad. so as you can see it can be both expensive and not expensive. won`t know until the problem is found.

Rear passanger side window won't go up or down

Window regulator most likely but before changing it out take the door panel off and apply current to the contacts of the actualy regulator. If the window goes up then switch the contacts and now it will go down. If nothing then regulator (window motor) is bad. If it works then your master control switch for all the windows is going bad.

Rear windows won't go down

You also have Circuit Breakers for your windows, Or your Master Switch ,You can Test the Driver Control Switch or the rear switches by removing the Switches and using the connector Plug and a Jump wire try jumping accross the wires,if they go up or down you could have a Bad Switch,if nothing moves more than likely your Window Motor is bad. BUT first CHECK your Circuit Breakers ,It could be Labeled as accessery Relay or circuit Breaker.

I have a 99 Ranger. Fuse blows before I get it in box. But right now my windows don't roll up or down. One headlight won't come on and it does work on brights. Any ideas would be appreciated!

The headlight may have a bad filament.
Do you know what that fuse is for? It's got to be a short (broken wire touching metal) in that circuit. Is it for the windows?
For the windows: pull off the inner panel for access to the master switch on driver's door. Look for one hot wire going to the power window switch, with key on. If no power is found at switch, check the wires going into door-maybe broke or frayed. If you have power at the switch, it's likely a bad switch or bad ground for the window circuit, because I doubt if both window motors failed at the same time. Good luck, and find what's blowing that fuse. Where it goes.

Windows won' go up or down and I've replaced all fuses and circut breakers.

Try replacing the switches. Try replacing the driver side switch first. Try the windows. If you checked all the fuses, relay, etc., I doubt all the window motors are bad. I would try new switches

My '02 Ford Taurus SES windows won't roll down

Power windows are wired through their own relay which is usually located in the fuse box. If you don't have faulty switches in your window system I would have the relay checked out.

If you cannot operate any of the power windows and you lost power on all at the one time it is most unlikely that the motors are faulty.

Passenger side power window halfway down

You will need to remove your interior trim panel and check your window regulator for damage and for power going to your window motor. If your regulator is ok and you have power going to the motor then you have a bad window motor. If there is no power at the motor then you will need to check the circuit for the problem ie. blown fuses, broken wiring, bad switch. It is very commen for the motors to go bad. Good luck.
