this isnt the right belt routing fool, it is pre update involving a water pump pulley problem, if this is how your belt goes you need to get to the nearest dealership and have it updated!!!

My 2007 Honda Civic Sedan has a SOHC 1.8 L 4 cyl. Belt routing is different from diagram in that path is from alternator to a/c compressor, to water pump, crankshaft, idler, then air pump. Routing like the diagram ends up with this belt 3" too lomg.

That diagram for the serpentine belt for the civic was not correct. The correct routing is as described by Dave Robertson. I took off the front passenger wheel to get access to the lower water pump, crankshaft and idler. Thanks

Where can I get a copie of the serpentine belt routing on a 2007 Chrysler Sebring engine 2.7?

If you can't find the diagram, you will need to draw out the routing direction of the old serpentine belt so that you can properly route the new serpentine belt around each pulley. or you can go to any auto parts store and they should be able to give you a diagram, or go to dealer to get a red out or diagram of your old belt. Good-Day!

I wouldn't disconect the batry just make sure the key is out of the vehicle so it can't be started by accident when you are working on it. Hint: Draw a diagram of the belt routing prior to removeing the belt.
