I own a 1990 ford taurus everytime I drive it, it shuts off after about 45min on the road. After about 30min I'm able to start it back up and drive again for 45min till it shut off again and so on and so on can you help me find the problem?

This is probably caused by a bad ignition module. Replacing the module should cure the problem, but you should test for spark right after the engine dies to confirm that this is the problem.

My 1990 ford taurus lost power while siting at a light, also shut off, started back up but vibrated really hard then shuts back off after 10 to 15 seconds, smell gasoline really strong

Sounds like you had a fuel line break. Turn the car on until it stops. Try to follow the smell. Back or underneath or front. Look for pools of fuel. Inspect the top of the engine, fuel lines, rails and injectors.

It sounds like the same thing that happened to my sons car. He was driving home from school and it just died on him. It acted like it wanted to start but would not. He replaced the ignition module and now it starts. He was gotting power from the coil to the distributor, but not from the distributor. Good luck
