On the 3.8 engine it is on the front of the motor by the waterpump. Just unplug it, unbolt it and remove it. On the 3.4 engine, you have to remove the Power steering pump to get to the sensor.

What are some of the common problems on a grandprix 1999

I know of 3... One, the window switch goes out fairly quickly, thus having to repair it if you know how (they say you cant, that its non service able, but it is!) Two...The Ac filter under the wiper plastic, behind the firewall need every 6 month cleaning, if not the blower will not produce as much air and forces itself thu causing it to fail. Three, the abs sensors going bad, im sure there is more, but thats whats failed my 2 grandprix, multiple times.

1999 pontiac grandprix knock sensor ,low input bank2 what do I do

There is only 1 knock sensor on the engine. Check the connector first, and make sure you are running a decent grade of gas. You may need to replace the sensor if all else is okay
