There is a clock spring in the upper part of the steering column , it allows the steering wheel to turn keeping the wiring from breaking ! What Is Clock Spring in Car eHow
HI youtube12 - IT sounds like your starter deed not disengage from the flywheel and by you driving it caused the starter over heat and short out . You need to have the electrical sys checked out before replacing starter. OK
i assume you put a new battery in,van runs but no radio or clock, check all your fuses first, and also make sure that radio doesnt have anti theft system, if it does then read your manualy on how to enter the code,if it needs a code then it wont work until code is entered, careful if you do the code entering wrong three times then radio shuts down for one hour, then you would need to have the key on or van running for one hour straight,
these vans are known to have faulty clock springs, which can cause the problems. I think there's a recall on them...give your local Chrysler dealer a call.
ive got a 55 plate 85 T260 swb crewcab 68000 miles, , i bought it 12 months ago, red light flashes on dash board most days, some times arratically, sometimes quite slow, and all clocks, speedo and dash does not work?????????
the smallest scratch and the van rusts, no under seal, there just a use it and dump it van.
