Were is the fuel filter on a 84 monte carlo - 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

If none of the gauges work, you need to check the gauges fuse and the connector on the back of the cluster. Each gauge is grounded thru its own sending unit.

Of its not fuel it is fire. Check plugs, coils, etc.

check for condensation in the disributor cap, and check the spark plu's and wir's also check the coil

The fuel filter is mounted under the car on the cross member just ahead of the fuel tank.

the fuel filter is located in the gas line inlet to the carb.

Replace your fuel filter.

Had the same problem with my 83 camino, check your fuel filter, if you can change it any mechanic should be able to, if that doesn't solve the problem it might be time to rebuild/replace opgi.com sells nice replacements.

The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine, near to the fuel tank.
Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.
