Own a 1998 Buick Lesabre Limited. The air compressor for the rear suspension only kicks on for 3-5 seconds on the initial cycle. Struts won't air up. Compressor is new, also the link on the sensor arm.

check for air leaks around the complete system taking xtra care when checking shock air connections, my mistake if you had an air leak I believe it would keep running as the sensor arm wont move to shut it off??? Also the compressor with first use of the day it should run a lot longer than 3-4 sec.

Heater control valve function

no the heater control valves function is to stop coolant (water) flow through the heater core . there is a cycling switch on the low side a/c line or accumulator drier this cycling is to keep the evaporator from freezing up and it also cycles when system is low on refrigerant .

Forester ac compressor cycles every few seconds but pressure on lp side shows high in gauge

Is it possible you hooked up to the factory service port on the high side instead of the low side port ?
Can you hook up a set of gauges to both high and low ports ?

AC compressor cycling on and off every 4-5 seconds, RPM has dropped. Low pressure side has not increased much after about 12oz of R134a has been added. Low side reading is currently about 36 lbs.

still need more freon-will short cycle when ur driving or bring up the revs because the low side will drop- average would be at or about 55 when running higher than idle

My air conditioing compressor is cycling for about 4 seconds. is this a clutch problem or something else? compressor is almost new.

sounds like a low freon/refrigerant problem,is the lines near the evaporator core at the firewall frosting over as it cycles,if so this is a good indication of a lack of refrigerant

When i starts my ford g marquis there is vibration from compresser and filter box above

The compressor is used to compress fuel+air mixture for ignition of this mixture. When fed to the injection nozzle, the sudden expansion of fuel + air, latent heat ignites in case of Diesel or ends in plugs for firing the cylcle . Just above the compressor is the air intake filter, which might not have been cleaned for a while. This air intake filter and its housing/casing might have loosened to create the vibration. After that, the rest it'll be easy to fix ..........................................................sodeep

Could be low on freon. Or the cycling switch is bad. Hope this helps.
