Question about 2000 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
If your tranny has gone into limp mode, it is for a reason, something went bad in there and it won't go over x amount of rpms or speed to save itself from further damage. You probably lost a shift solenoid, or a ground, or it may just be low on fluid. You might end up in the tranny shop with a $1200 bill. Check it out.
