Question about 2006 Pontiac Torrent
Sounds like the starter.If you can locate it,tap on it with a hammer 3 or 4 times and try to restart.It may take several tries but should eventually start because starters don't quite fail 100%,they just kind of get stuck.If you can't find the starter,call a couple of parts stores or a dealer,someone is always willing to tell you for free to attract your business.It should work and you need a new starter.I put in a used one a couple of years ago and no problems yet,but the decision is yours.Good luck! not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can
be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it
can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or
no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition
coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
