Looking at wiring diagrams for those systems an then using a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter to test electrical circuits is the normal way to diagnose . Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits ? Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Take the door panels off of the doors that windows aren't working an test battery voltage an ground at the switch . If you had wiring diagrams it would show where battery voltage comes from ,fuse - which wires to test etc...
Pulling switch and by process off elimination verifying with meter many switches can be opened and cleaned then jumping connector to test motors may save the time as repair manual electrical diagrams have awful shortconings forgive the pun . That is how I did mine first finding positive pin in driver door switch connector testing each switch finding output etc. Also keep in mind the kid safe window lookout on drivers door if your having trouble operating all but drivers door Year make and model ? If your still need a diagram
Not working properly how ? Check power an grounds - lose connections maybe ! Driver door master switch . Go to www.bbbind.com for wiring diagram for power window circuit ! Do you have a volt meter ? You have a accessory relay in the central junction box that supplies power to the driver door master switch ! At bbbind click on technical information , next click on tsb's an wiring diagrams ! next page go to the bottom an click I agree .Next page click on wiring diagrams an enter your vehicle info. Then system -body & accessories , subsystem -power windows ! Next go to you tube videos an check out electrical trouble shooting ! Good luck !
Here is a cropped part of the entire diagram showing the driver door. I enlarged it but its still not great. Let me know if you need color codes for a specific component.
There are a number of screws and clips holding that particular door panel onto the door. Recommend you get a service manual with a detailed diagram showing how to disassemble that panel, else you might destroy most of the clips trying to remove the panel.
I removed all 3 switches from driver and passenger door, which is really easy with a flat head screw driver. took them completely apart, very carefully, with a small screwdriver out of a christmas cracker. put them back together again and 2 switches started working, so I put 1 in the drivers side and 1 in the passengers side so now my drivers door window opens and I lean over to open the passenger door. cool, no money spent...yet ;o)
Sorry i dont have a diagram but what i can tell you is that you can take it to a body shop and they can remove the inside door panel and show you what part snapped or if you are pretty good with tools, screw drivers and star bits, you can take the panel off yourself, they're usually fairly simple to remove. Just be careful of your switches and door handle. Also check the window power motor too.
