there should be the rods and clips inside the door if not you must go to the junk yard for the rods and the you must take off the door panel unscrew the lock mechanism at back of the door and fit the rods into the lock and the door handle then reassemble it ?????? did you check to make sure the child safety locks are not on ??? also your car may have the dark out system activated and you have to go to the dealer for that so they can reprogram the lighting control module to get the interior lights working

This car came standard with power door locks and the lock actuators are frozen up and this keeps you from turning the key to open the doors.

How do I install actuator rods in the rear door of a 2004 crown vic

...Look up "Crownvic.net" on the internet. This site is specifically for fans of the Crown Vic, and has all kinds of easy to navigate repair info. You may also type in your question and you'll probably find answers to your issues and even photos from those who have accomplished the project you have in mind. You also should check out a local auto salvage yard that has a few of your car models. Take your tools...and explore! Take off a rear door panel of The Crown P-71. Take a look at how the door control rods operate...and use your wrench to become familiar with removal and installation of parts. This is a dirt cheap education! Have fun.

I have a 1994 crown vic and the button for the fuel door is broken how can i get the door open until i can get it fixed?

There should be a pull cable in the trunk that you can pull to open the gas door, it may be behind the carpet on the wall behind the gas door inside the trunk.

I need to get my 97' Crown victoria trunk open from the inside.

There should be a safety trunk release located on the upper rear window deck platform- a black handpull . If it is still intact- it should pop the trunk lid.

2003 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor has rear door locks not accessible for unlocking by passenger. What is the least expensive way to fix this?

Assuming you have played with the child locks on the doors you may fnid that your particular car is missing the linkage from the interior door handle to the door lock. Apart from making up a rig yourself I would suggest going to a breakers yard or possibly your local Ford dealer
