Fix power window on a 1995 mazda 929 it goes half way up then stops and makes a noise

The fuel filter is located on the right side of the passenger, it looks like a black upside down bell.

It sounds like clogged ports that allow fluid to go through. Reverse will most always work even when the entire tranny goes since it is it's own separate system. Try a flush, I don't normally advise that but it sounds like the way to go but I'm guessing a new tranny is in the very near future. Did you keep up on the fluid changes? Because those trannys in those mazdas usually go for a good 300k if kept up with maintenance.

is it making any noise at all, if it makes whineing noise but not crank, its a timing issue, if it has no noise at all it is likely the started, try banging on it when someone turns the key

should be where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine

You can adjust the window.....but that entails taking the door panel off, and the plastic vapor barrier, to gain access. then you can see the bolts for the track adjustment.........BUT....why not try investing in a can of Silicone Spray @ your local autoparts store....and spray the ****out of the rubber and felt in the channels, when the window is down??? Worked for me in my 35 years of journeyman auto tech experience......Have fun.
