Question about 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix
Some of these are accessible through the trunk. There may be a piece of plastic or fabric behind the tail light assembly that can be emoved. Then usually the bulb and cable pugged into it are turned counter clockwise about a 1/2 turn to remove them.

SOURCE: rear brake pads
The rear calipers have to be turned back in, not pushed. There is a tool, but rather than spend the money... I have used a 11/16 wrench. Slips at first until you get it started, but then the calipers turn pretty easily.

There is an access panel on the inside rear sides by the lift gate. They pop out giving you access to the bulbs. I recommend replacing both at the same time since they seem to "blow" within a few days of each other.
