It could be a few things, check your pcm fuses and relays, could be the VATS system going out, starter could be going out, or a bad ground on the battery. just to name a few of course. i would test the starter first though. is your security light on in the dash? if so its the vats system. which is easy to fix. just google it, cause i dont want to be at fault.

I have a four 150 model 95, few day ago I was running on my truck but then out of nowhere turn off busy it self and didn't want to star! What should I do?

Make sure the fuel pump buzzes when turning key to on, but not trying to start vehicle. If it does your fuel pump should be ok. Now check for spark at a plug wire.

I have a 1990 chevy camero rs 3.1 liter v6 auto, when i turn the key the starter will not engage, no noises or any thing, i have replaced the starter n its still doing the same thing

check voltage at battery has to be 12 volts , turn lights on see if they work when u turn key, if not bad ground wire from battery or at frame, check volt gauge inside car see if it drops when u turn key, if so battery is likely problem.

1992 Camaro RS 25th anniv won't start. Security light goes on? ANy suggestions

I have a 1992 Camaro (V8 - Automatic) and I have a problem with it starting. I have power when I put the key in, but when I go to turn the key over, nothing happens. I know that it is not the starter, the battery or the key with the chip in it. Plug and plug wires have been replaced, fuel pump has been replaced and no problems with the battery. I have disconnected the airbag to replace it and still have the same problems. No blown fuses either. I have tried pulling out of gear and back in to make sure that it is registering that it is in park.

I asked a mechanic a few years ago if he had heard of any problems like mine. He said yes. He said there is a wire that is disconnected somehow in the column.

It happens periodically and I have to wait for it to start... sometimes for days. I have tried moving the steering and all. It will not start. No one else has ever heard of this. Have you? Can you provide another solution to this problem?

I have a 2001 Camaro V6 3.8L that stalled on the highway a few days ago. The car stalls almost instantly after starting, ive actually got it to run for about 20 secs a few times but still stalls. Plugs...

When you turn the ignition to on you should here the fuel pump run. If you aren't hearing it then it sure sounds like the pump. Assuming nothing has happened to the car to affect electrical connections. I don't think there is a fuse for the pump but worth checking also.
