Hello there:
The recommended spark plug gap for a 2003-2004 Honda Odyssey is .044"
Keep in mind, many OE manufacturers (i.e. Denso, NGK) pre-gap their plugs for specific applications. If you happen to buy the iridium or platinum style plugs with the very thin center electrode, they should come pre-gapped. It can't hurt to check the gap before installing the plugs, but if any adjustment is necessary, do so with caution because the ultra-thin electrode may crack if any excessive pressure is placed on it.
Hope this is very helpful
Best regards Michael

I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus and awhile ago I switched the plugs to a Autolite plug. Then I decided there might a problem and went back to the Champion plugs.

I believe the factory originals are champion brand, and would have been platinum, but it should still run decent with the coppers. The only thing I can think of is they are of the wrong gap. Copper plugs do not come pre- gapped at all and need to be done by installer. The gap for your stratus, if it's a 4 cylinder is .050. Wrong gap will cause no power and shaking. Correct champion number in copper is #443, and should say that on the box/plug.

What is the correct spark plug gap on 2003 gmc safari V6 4.3L using autolite platinum plugs

If you have the owners manual you should find the gap specifications there. Otherwise using a standard plug chart at any self serve retailer will provide the compatible plug specs.

.060 is fairly common pre-gap but check your owners manual to be sure.

There is a sticker affixed to the fan shroud which will list the proper gap for YOUR vehicle (it varies from series to series). Usually, .048 to .055.

1999 Sable LS, bought Autolite APP104 Double Platinum plugs. What should the gap be set at? Will this inprove gas mileage?

The engine doesn't know what plug you have in it,so no. Gas milage actually will go down, as the vehicle gets older and carbons up,converter breaks down and sensors get worn.
If double platinum was the original factory plug, use that.
I will tell you that the tip on the Autolite Plugs, is not the same wire size or shape as the OE factory plug.
An NGK is a better choice, unless you have deep pocket and wish to go to the dealer parts counter for Motorcraft. They may be NGK anyway, mine had both names on them.

The gap, is on your radiator support and can be looked up on any plug mfg site.

Spark plus recomended

4.6 or 5.8 Liter engine?
For 4.6L use Autolite 104 double Platinum
For 5.8L use Autolite 103 double Platinum

Check for wet plugs when you remove the old spark plugs.
On worn out or low compression cyclinder, you should add a Spark Plug Non Fouler shield to protect the plug.
