The factory manual is the only one worth buying, you can also join alldata.com they have factory manuals. As far as the job goes you must remove whatever is in the way, some cars there is little or nothing, but like yours many components must be removed, I would have the written manual in hand before starting the job to avoid costly down time, all you need is the gasket and a good can of spray cleaner, a few razor blades would help, as the old gasket will be as hard as rock.

hi, their is no way of repairing this to ensure that it will continue to work, your best option is to replace it as a whole, the cheapest option would be either a breakers yard or even try the biggest auction site we all know and love( cant mention no names on hear) xxay im sure you know what site im on about, anyway those would be your cheapest option.
Or you could just buy a new part at the end of the day its up to you.

You could try fixing it but their is no guarantee its going to last due to the heat involved and the parts expanding and retracting so any repair would be difficult to do and also the repair wouldnt last long witch could leave you breaking down some where.

  13. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section. CAUTION High pressure lines deliver diesel fuel under extreme pressure from the injection pump to the fuel injectors. This may be as high as 23,200 psi.(1600 bar). Use extreme caution when inspecting for high pressure fuel leaks. Fuel under this amount of pressure can penetrate skin causing personal injury or death. Inspect for high pressure fuel leaks with a sheet of cardboard. Wear safety goggles and adequate protective clothing when servicing fuel system.
  14. ate assembly to timing belt inner cover.
  15. Disconnect A/C lines at compressor.
  16. Remove charge air inlet hose.
  17. Remove the EGR airflow control valve from the intake manifold.
  18. Remove high pressure injection pump to fuel rail high pressure line.
  19. Disconnect high pressure injection pump quantity control valve electrical connector.
  20. Disconnect fuel supply and return lines at high pressure injection pump.
  21. Remove alternator to intake manifold bracket.
21 Remove high pressure injection pump retaining nuts and remove pump.

Care must be taken not to bend the brake vacuum tube when removing high pressure pump.

Location of top autotrans modulator hose to inlet manifold 1.6 16v injected suzuki vitara 1995


16v. G16B motor, that is easy, must be 3sp A/t as 4sp has non.
the modulator is at the read of the 3sp, and has hard line forward
follow that and it goes to rubber line near the plenum nipple.
hard vacuum nipple.

1: the nipple with no hose. in the engine plenum.
the 16v goes way lean with this nipple empty. at idle.
is this a 3 speed or are you reading online advice for 3sp and yours is a 4speed, (apples and oranges, diffr)

I need to replace the thermostat for my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, V6 3.2 Liter LS model? I see that it is on top of the engine under the intake. What steps do I take to remove the intake. Will the top and bottom...


remove fuel pump fuse and start car when it dies try to start again, no more spluttering just cranking, the fuel system is now depressurised. you can now disconnect both of the quick disconnect fuel lines at rear lower section of inlet manifold this is hard to get to some access this by removing the EGR valve so you can get your arms down there watch out for sharp edges of manifold. you dont need to take the top section of the inlet manifold off but will need new lower inlet manifold gaskets to haed.once manifold is off block all intake ports with rag or put tape over ports to stop dirt and stuff falling into ports while continuing to work on the coolant pipes below to get to thermostat.undo only 4 long centre bolts and the 4 nuts, one in each corner(no.3 in picture).

FUEL FILTER MOUNTED ON A BRACKET TO THE REAR OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.TO REMOVE FUEL FILTER.TURN OFF IGNITION.RELEASE ANY PRESSURE OR VACUUM IN THE TANK.DRAIN THE FUEL FROM THE FUEL FILTER BY OPENING BOTH THE AIR BLEED AND THE WATER DRAIN VALVE ALLOWING THE FUEL TO DRAIN INTO A SUITABLE CONTAIMER.UNSTRAP BOTH BAIL WIRES WITH A SUITABLE TOOL AND REMOVE THE FILTER.INSTALLING THE NEW FILTER ENSURE THAT BOTH FILTER MOUNTING PLATE FITTINGS ARE CLEAR OF DIRT.SNAP THE FILTER INTO PLACE WITH THE BAIL WIRES.CLOSE THE WATER DRAIN VALVE AND OPEN THE AIR BLEED VALVE.CONNECT A 1/8 INCH I.D HOSE TO THE AIR BLEED PORT AND PLACE THE OTHER END INTO A SUITABLE CONTAINER.DISCONNECT THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP SHUTDOWN SOLENOID WIRE.CRANK THE ENGINE FOR 10 - 15 SECONDS THEN WAIT 1 MINUTE FOR THE STARTER MOTOR TO COOL.REPEAT UNTIL CLEAR FUEL IS OBSERVED COMING FROM THE AIR BLEED.IF ENGINE IS TO BE CRANKED OR STARTED WITH THE AIR CLEANER REMOVED CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO PREVENT DIRT FROM BEING PULLED INTO THE AIR INLET MANIFOLD WHICH COULD RESULT IN ENGINE DAMAGE.CLOSE THE AIR BLEED VALVE RECONNECT THE INJECTION PUMP SOLENOID WIRE AND REPLACE THE FUEL TANK CAP.START THE ENGINE ALLOW IT TO IDLE FOR 5 MINUTES AND CHECK THE FUEL FILTER FOR LEAKS.

How to change an exhaust manifold leak 7.5L


Right-Hand
Removal
  1. Remove spark plug heat shield (12A406).
  1. Remove distributor to spark plug wires (12286) using Spark Plug Wire Remover T74P-6666-A.
    1. Disconnect muffler inlet pipe.
    1. If equipped with secondary air injection, disconnect the secondary air injection check valve tube (9B480).
    1. Remove attaching bolts and right exhaust manifold (9430).
    1. Inspect joint faces for signs fo exhaust leaks, cracks or any defect that would make exhaust manifold unfit for use







Left-Hand Removal






1. Remove oil level indicator tube (6754).
  1. Remove spark plug heat shield.
  1. Remove distributor to spark plug wires using Spark Plug Wire Remover T74P-6666-A.
  1. Disconnect EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube (9D477). If equipped with air injection, disconnect the secondary air injection check valve tube.
  1. Disconnect muffler inlet pipe.
  1. Remove attaching bolts and exhaust manifold (9431).
  1. Inspect joint faces for signs of exhaust leaks, cracks or any defect that would make the exhaust manifold unfit for use.
Installation
  1. Clean mating surfaces of right exhaust manifold or left exhaust manifold and cylinder head (6049). Clean mounting flange of right exhaust manifold or left exhaust manifold and inlet pipe(s). Clean mounting surface for air injection tube or right exhaust manifold. Apply light film of Premium Long-Life Grease XG-1-C or -K or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B to right exhaust manifold or left exhaust manifold.
  1. Position right exhaust manifold or left exhaust manifold on cylinder head. Install attaching bolts and washers, starting at fourth bolt hole from front of each right exhaust manifold or left exhaust manifold. Tighten bolts to 34-47 Nm (25-35 lb-ft), working from center right to both ends.
    1. Position inlet pipes to right exhaust manifold or left exhaust manifold. Install attaching nuts and tighten to 34-47 Nm (25-35 lb-ft).
    1. Position the secondary air injection check valve tube and the secondary air injection tube gasket (9C435) at rear of right-hand exhaust manifold. Install attaching bolts and tighten to 19-25 Nm (14-18 lb-ft).
    1. Attach the secondary air injection manifold tube (9B449) to left-hand exhaust manifold fitting (located under EGR tube). Tighten nut to 30-40 Nm (22-30 lb-ft).
    1. Attach the secondary air injection check valve tube to rear of right-hand cylinder head. Tighten bolts to 75-85 Nm (56-62 lb-ft).
      1. Connect EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube to left exhaust manifold, if removed. Tighten nut to 53-72 Nm (39-53 lb-ft).
      1. Install spark plug heat shield and distributor to spark plug wires.
      1. Install oil level indicator tube to left exhaust manifold, if removed. Tighten nut to 13-24 Nm (10-18 lb-ft).
      2. Start engine (6007) and check for exhaust leaks.

Drilled hole in intake manifold at upper radiator outlet


Did the bolt break off flush with the top of the hole? or if you remove the cover is some bolt sticking up? if there is try and use vice grips to get ahold if the bolts if it is flush then drill the bolt out and re-tap the hole. Way cheaper and likely less work too...

Can not start engine, will only start after pouring gasoline in butterfly valve, runs only long enough to burn the fuel I just added. Fuel pump good, and new fuel filter.


Hi I am Vortash sounds like a blocked fuel injector or if your vehicle is not fitted with the fuel injection system a blocked main jet or fractured or perforated diagphram in the carb so as you push the accelerator the fuel is not being pumped into the inlet manifold . if carb type fitted check needle valve seat and remove main jet and clean , if non Nsu type carb check float chambers for contamination ,Check manifold seals for leakage .
Fuel Injected systems check all plugs to sensors and check air flow valve , remove plugs after attempt to start and see if wet thereby faulty pressure valve pumping too much fuel Ie : flooding . Check all plugs on ECU and throttle resistor (controller ) hope this helps regards vortash
