Water leaking thermostat housing

Drain the radiator to half full, and remove the top hose, oil filter, and thermostat housing (water inlet). Remove the thermostat and gasket, clean, and replace with a new gasket. Wire brush any scale off the thermostat housing and reinstall with a new hose as well. See here p247

How do you remove the oil cooler on a 94 camry with the 4 cylinder

Do you mean remove the radiator? Most 4 cyl Camrys do not have an oil cooler. Details are here, p250
http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/eg1.pdf

The plastic top tank of the radiator in Camrys can develop a crack when older. Look carefully in that area.

Radiator toyota camry 1998 v6

You may have

- a coolant leak somewhere, comes out when the engine heats up and pressurises the radiator. Camrys do develop a crack in the plastic radiator top tank, which can be hard to see if on a seam. Another place which leaks is under the intake manifold, which is not visible. There is a test, called a "leak-down" test

- thermostat stuck closed, preventing coolant circulation

- a leak through a head gasket from a combustion chamber to the coolant jacket. This will quickly cause overheating, and sometimes causes white bubbles in the radiator neck, like dry ice. There is a test kit available for gases in the coolant.

Where is the thermostat located in v6 camry 1993 getting to many mixed reviews ?

On both diesel and gasoline engines, the thermostat is located in the water inlet housing connected to the lower radiator hose.

1994 toyota camry- recently replaced radiator, timing belt, water pump and thermostat- no heat when idling- lots of heat when reving the engine or driving

check your antifreeze mix, this is a common problem when your antifreeze mix is too much antifreeze and not enough water. 50/50 mix to 55/45 mix is ideal for most applications. too much antifreeze and not enough water will not transfer heat as well as the proper mixture.
make sure your mixture is 50-55% antifreeze.

Where is the thermostat located on 1997 toyota camery

Look where the top radiator hose connects to the engine. There you will find the thermostat housing.

Antifreeze looks almost black in color is thisnormal.

No this is not normal, Sounds like you may be getting a little oil mixed with the water flow. I would have this checked out because you may have a crack within the engine allowing oil to mix with your coolant system.

On a 1996 toyota camry ca you tell me where the thermastat and water pump are located?

the thermostat is located on the top of the engine follow the radiator hose it usually ends at the thermostat and the lower hose usually ends at the water pump which in your case will probably be on the side of the engine.

Camry overheating

Possible stuck thermostat(located front LH side below the alternator), or faulty water pump(inside timing cover)!! The fan has no connectors because its hydraulic driver through the power steering pump(V-6 models only). You may disconnect the switch on the powersteering pump to test the fan.....with the switch unplugged rev the motor to 2200RPM and you should hear the fan increase in speed. If not check the filter (LH side of the radiator) its black with rubber tubing on each side. Check also power steering fluid. Hopefully this helps!!
