U NEED TO CHECK FOR POWER AT LOW PRESURE SWITH AND A/C RELAY.U WONT GET POWER TO COMPRESSOR UNLESS RELAY IS WORKING AND SYSTEM THINKS THERE IS ENOUGH REFRIGERANT IN. USUALLY LOW PRESSURE SWITCH IS ON TOP OF RECEIVER DRIER.

Echo is blowing hot all the time Freon level is good compressor clutch is engaging. blows hot with ac on and off all fuses are good any ideas

Sounds like a blend door issue. The blend door is what directs air over the heater core or evaporator coil depending on how the controls are set. I am unfamiliar with your particular cars set up so I can not be any more specific. I would suggest going on google or buying a repair manual if your unwilling or unable to take it to a shop.

1986 chevy S10 has no power (12v) at fuse box on the fuse for ac clutch. checked both sides of fuse to ground 00v. ac/heater fuse 12v both sides (fan) works fine

hello, check all fuses, and relays, make sure wires to ac is not broke or has been pinched, sometimes you can run hot wire from battery, to compressor, touch hot side of plug in on comp wire see if it will kick on, if so sounds like a short, if compressor dont kick on with hot wire run to it, tap the out side of comp clutch and see if it kicks on, these compressors will not kick on any way if they are low on freon, once freon is full it should work.

AC blow fan in not working. tried to find fuse no

Try looking under the hood. There should be a power control unit with fuses and relays that control the AC. If you suspect it is a relay take on from another source that isnt detimental to the operation of the engine and swap it over. If your AC starts to work then that is your problem.

NO POWER TO AC COMP

Fuse #5 is for your ac.

On the Hi/Low pressure switch conection Terminal 1 and 2 are for AC clutch bridge them briefly to see if clutch engage if so system is low on refrigerent.

If you get cold air its more then likely Hi/Low switch is bad.

Note engine must be running and ac fan in on position.

Good luck
