My coolint is evaperating, and i have to add every day

you must have a leak somewhere. Your coolant will not boil unless you have a leak. Check for leak traces of fluid the color of your anti-freeze. Your radiator cap is spring loaded and with time the spring gets weak.
Check that area for leak traces. The easiest way to check for leaks is to look at your driveway. if you have a coolant leak the fluid traces will be on the driveway. Don't mistake your air conditioner water leak as being the coolant fluid. The anti-freeze coolant has a sweet smell whereas the air conditioner fluid is just plain water being removed from the air inside of your cab.

Why does my truck smell like anti freeze when I turn on ac or heater

You probably have a leak in your heater core. Have you noticed coolant on the ground where you park? Or moisture in the floorboard?

I am leaking anti-freeze in my chevy 1994 cheyenne C2500, and i dont now know how to change the heater core. Which i think that is the problem because i have lost a lot of anti-freeze and now my truck is...

it prob isnt the heater core usually when that goes u blow antifreeze steam into cab from heater vents. prob water pump or pin hole in radiator line if from the front of the engine or bad gaskets or bad freeze plugs if from the rear also check ur thermostat to make sure it working prop because u could simply be blowing out ur over flow line cause **** is plugged an over heating

Engine warms well, heater fan blowing well, but very little heat comes into cab

It could be one of two things.
1. Bad thermostat. Your thermostat is pobably not opening when the engine warms up. Install a new thermostat and you should be OUT OF THE COLD. If not,
2. Your heating core and radiator is probably clogged. One way to solve this is. Flush out your radiator with radiator flush kit. Pease read your owners manual, (YOU NEED TO USE A SPECIAL TYPE OF ANTI FREEZE). If you use the the green color Presotne anti freeze, It will gradually corrode through the linings of your radiator. And the green color prestone anti freeze will blow out the radiator. So read your owners malual ( I beleive it says you have to use Dextron Anti Freeze ( Pink Color).. Replace your thermostat and flush out your radiator. Then refill your radiator with dextron anti freeze. Also make sure the anti freeze resivor is filled to the proper level.. Once you do all of this, YOU DEFFINITLY WILL BE IN HEAT.. YOU CAN DO THIS YOUR SELF ( iT WOULD TAKE ME NO MORE THAN 1 TO 2 HOURSFOR ME TO DO THIS IN MY DRIVEWAY) OR YOU CAN HAVE THIS DONE AT ANY QUICK LUBE LOCATIONS... HAPPY MOTORING

I smell antifreeze

It is anti freeze leak somewhere of course but if it is strong in the car it may be the heater core. Look for damp spots in carpet up under dash.

My 2003 nissan frontier 4x4 overheats when the AC is on and I am move at a slow pace. Why?

I had the same problem one hot day waiting in a McDonald's drive-thru but it never occurred again since I changed the anti-freeze. Some say it is just caused by air in the system and changing the anti-freeze may have coincidentally (but maybe temporarily) cured the problem. That was 2 years ago and I may have problems this summer. It doesn't seem right to need a new radiator on a product this new - maybe when the other guy changed his he got rid of his air and that fixed it.
