Check for power in and out of resistor. Normally located on firewall on passenger side underneath sill area, behind shock mount. Normally it will run on high only, if resistor gone, but I have had some that quit completely, so checking voltage on both sides of resistor, with fan on, should tell you.
The power goes through the resistor then to motor. If not on firewall, follow wires from motor, back to connector at duct work, which should be the resistor, or resistor will be near there.

I have replaced the blower resister today with a brand new one and it still doesn't blow. Is it possible that the fan switch itself may be broken

Ac controller works and blower works very little coming out of the vents and the red heater light is on

What you describe points at the blower motor/blower motor resistor or both... Best thing to do is to apply 12v directly to the blower motor, if it spins fast, the problem is the resistor, if it spins slow, it's the motor. Good luck!

Is there a fuse that run the air condition inthe honda odyssey 2006

Hondas all have a fuse and blower relay located in the battery junction block. You can try swapping relays around if the fuse is good. Then verify the blower motor is good by disconnecting it and applying 12v directly to the motor. If this checks good, check for 12v at the blower connector while disconnected, (key on/fan on). Had a CRV in the shop a few days ago with the exact same issue, power to the motor but a weak ground signal. Replaced the blower resistor.

Ac blower motor stopped working

YJ car.
the blower is dead. is that it?
does it blow full speed on high
do you have 12v on terminal A of blower , term B is 0v ground
got that, then the blower is dead.
if not 12v, then the controls are bad.

4 parts to make blow
1: fuse 12 good.
2: switch heater /on off.
3: high, med,low speed, use high, its direct.
4: the blower,
one of those points has no 12v on high,
use a simple voltmeter to find the failed point.

Rear fan for ac 2006 kia sedona not working fuses check good. What else???

It's probably the blower fan itself. The brushes in the fan motors are really crappy. I removed mine and simply did a cleanup of the commutator re-installed it and it works perfectly! You can test the motor by hooking 12v power directly to it. My front blower went out and it was a snap to remove, 6 screws under the dash above the passenger side floorboard and the blower was in my hand. This motor had worn out brushes so I had to open the motor assembly and replace them. Those blower motors are $125 in the aftermarket so you can save yourself a bundle of cash if you're handy with tools. P.S. there is a little rubber boot hooked to the side of the motors, it is important to make sure this is installed properly as it has to do with cooling the motor and elongating it's life cycle!

My blower stopped working I replaced the resistor and it still doesn't work! And I don't wanna have to buy a blower if its not the problem

Hi Stickboy.
What you could do to determine if the problem is a defective blover is to supply the blower with 12V directly. There must be a connector somewhere where you can disconnect the blower from the electrical system. In the connector you will normally see 2 wires - red & black. Connect 12V to the red wire and ground to the black wire. If the blower is working by this direct supply the failure must be looked for somewhere else.

Assuming the blower is OK - the next step is to measure if 12V is coming to the Blower resistor. If no a various reasons could be the problem.
I assume that you have checked the fuses already. If no - it is a good idea to check.

Regards

Ok, my blower was not working at all. It used to work on the 2 and 3 setting. I replaced the resistor nothing. Took out blower and hooked it up to 12 volts it came on. So I went and bought a new control...

the blower motor is going. It's drawing too much current and taking out the resistor pack. It has a thermal limiter that melts when the resister gets too hot. Repalce motor and resistor.

My blower Motor is not working on my 1996 Mercury Mystique. I checked all the fuses, all the fuses work just fine. I then checked the voltage that was getting to the blower motor, and it read 12v. I then...

hello, try this..hook 12 volts directly to the blower motor terminals, it should spin! Check for 12 v at the plug that goes into the blower motor again. if good.. Hook a light tester to 12v supply and then check the ground wire in the plug that goes to the blower motor. if it doesn't light up you have a bad ground connection.

The blower motor resistor is bad. Should be right next to blower motor, inserted in the evaporator box.
