1992 dodge w-150 4x4 blew fuseable link on driver side and rolled to a stop. Tried jumper wire and it turns over but won't fire and it just gets hit and melts the wire more . Its orange and a white

you have a dead short in the circuit for that fusible link
could be a faulty relay or control module or if the fuse is in the ignition circuit , a faulty ECM

Need wire color diagram

Black = AC hot
Red = switched AC hot
Yellow = AC hot from a another source - another control panel as an example.
White = neutral
red w/white tracer = switched neutral
Green or green w/ yellow tracer = ground/earth ground
blue = DC voltage, ie, 12vdc, 24vdc
white w/blue tracer = dc common
Brown = AC 3 pahse - phase A
Orange = AC 3 pahse - phase B
Yellow = AC 3 Phase - phase C
shileds: think of current loops
2 cond
clear or red = +
black = -(neg)
3 cond
red = power (24vdc typically for transducers)
clear = + (signal output)
black = - (signal common)
Hope this helps, oh, and any panel I have design and wired this way is easily understaood by 99% of all service and electrical people I have worked with.

99 expedition my fuel pump isnt working checked fuses is there a fusuble fink with key on the fuel shutt off switch behind right kick panel has no power to any of the wires?

Power comes from a fuseable link to the pump relay, then to the inertia switch on the dark green and yellow wire. Power from the inertia switch to the pump is on the pink blue or pink black wire.

No head lights, taillights, brakes lights.

A fuseable link comes through the fire wall. I had to solder a wire to my '92 van to keep it working after it blew. It happened a long time ago and now I'm not sure what it effected.

No voltage to fuel pump or eec relays 1988 e150 van 5.0 died while driving put new starter and solenoid in about two months ago any ideas

I'm not positive the wiring is the same for trucks and vans, but you should have a yellow wire for both relays that go to a fuseable link off the starter solenoid. The key switch powers the EEC relay on, and the computer grounds the fuel pump relay on.
You may want to check the fuseable links and power coming from the key switch.

Where is the fuel pump relay switch?

it is located under the dash on the drivers side, it has seven terminals and is refered to as the main fuel injection relay. if you want to test the pump, use a paperclip to jumper the black with yellow tracer and the yellow with black tracer wires together, the pump should run. in some models of accords they used a solid yellow wire in place of the yellow/black wire. good luck. thanks to Jason, please rate my response and research!! good luck

I puled off my old alternator and forgot to put

So, you have an integral regulator on your alternator.... so you have to connect the output of the regulator to your battery. You also have to connect between the regulator and the alternator. Hmmmmm how to describe....
using your descriptions of wires and prongs.....
Connect Wire Color to Prong

Yellow (w/wht dot) A+
White (w/blk tracer) STA
Black (w/orange tracer) Bat (alt output)
Ground wire Grd
Orange (w/Lt.Blue) F (field)
If battery was connected, the Black with orange tracer wire would have +12 Volts on it at all times

No power to radio but fuse is ok

You will need to remove your radio to check this. They have 2 different radios for your vehicle. When you pull out your radio that is how you will tell. One will have 16 pins in the plug for the radio or it will have 7 pins for the plug in the radio. If you have the radio with the 16 pin connector the your power wires are pin # 7 a yellow with a green tracer wire and pin # 16 an orange with a black tracer. Your ground will be pin # 8 a black with a green tracer wire. If you have the 7 pin connector then your power wires are pin 1 a orange with a black tracer and pin # 3 a yellow with a green wire. Your grounds will be pin # 2 a black with ayellow tracer and pin # 6 a black wire with a green tracer if you have all of that then the radio has probably failed.
