Question about Nissan Pulsar

Open Question

Hi my 1998 N15 Nissan Pulsar has suddenly stopped running while i was driving it. It jerked like it had run out of fuel. There was fuel, the fuel pump has been changed and so has the spark plugs. After this it worked for 1hr and the exact same thing happened. Should i replace the ignition modulator? Or is there something els i should investigate?

I have same/similar problem.... if this problem happens off and on... runs well one day and next day is jerky-stalling then it's more than likely your airflow meter

SOURCE: my nissan pulsar is jerking while driving why is

Could be a Cylinder which you need to check the spark plugs and wires and distributor or might also be a fuel cutting problem.

Locate Thermostat Housing for Pulsar LX N15 1998 Model 1.6 MANUAL

um, like other 4 cylinder nissan engines, follow the lower radiator hose to the engine block

the upper one is to the water outlet, held on by 2 bolts

you want the housing, which has the thermostat, yes?

the lower hose will lead you to that housing, held on with the typical 3 bolt pattern
