Should the motter make noise like a ticking soung

welll... yes and no. its normal on most vehicles to make a little clattering noise on the initail start up of the morning, but if its still ticking when its warm, i suggest getting an oil, and filter change and see if that doesnt help it out, or at least make sure its full on oil. The tinging or clattering at startup, is the lifters pumpin up, but other than that, no it shouldnt make any kind of noise. hope this helps

Changed head gasket and one cylinder head after starting it and runing for three hours and than turned it off, when restarted it it had no oil pressure and it was noise

oops?? think you have a problem here and the problem is muck in the pick pipe filter on the oil pump ,drop the sump and check it before you re start .had this problem before quite a few times the brown muck builds up inside the engine where the oil isnt changed often enough ,the new oil is cleaning the engine so the muck breaks up and clogs the gauze filter .I serviced a car last week and it got 20 miles up the motorway and the oil light came on. when car returned here with irate customer who has been using my car since. When i told them what had happened they have kept my car and will not pay for the repair to theirs because they reckon i never put the oil in .This is about teh third car in the last year with the same problem ,change the oil every 6000miles and and the oil filter every thrid oil change

I have toyota camry V6 3000cc ,i am about to change transmission oil and filter, wat type of oil i need,do i need to change filter

the owners manual should tell you what oil, the oil filler cap should also have it printed it will be either 5w30 or 5w20. Yes the oil filter will need to be replaced.

Noise engine

replace oil filter bypass (the boss that the oil filter screws to)... other than that ..oil pump failing...main bearings out of spec not allowing oil to stay under pressure and reach the upper valve train...good luck
