You should replace any blown fuse with the recommend fuse that was originally protecting the circuit. If a larger fuse is installed you run the risk of burning or melting your wiring in the circuit. Check your vehicle owners manual for the correct fuse size.

Dont replace the fuse bigger than the specified by the manufacturer, it is harmfull to your vehicle, find out first what is the problem to your load why the fuse is blowing

Oil pressure reads maximum on gauge when driving, half at idle


Replace the oil pressure sending unit. But like emissionwiz said, location depends on the engine size.
