You can check to see if the fuse is blowen (usually located in the fue box in the cab of the vehicle)

you can check the relay for the horn located eather in the cab of the vehicle or under the hood

test your horn with a battery to see if it works if not replave it

if the wires are bad replace them

i hope this helps

Horn wiring diagrams

Well, you should have two horns - one above each wheel well inside the front fenders. Since replacing the relay didn't fix the problem, the most probable cause is the horn switch in the steering wheel assembly, although wiring under the hood could also be a problem as contacts at the horns are prone to corrosion. You could check the horns by connecting 12V to one of them, but because of the airbag in the steering wheel, you should leave pulling the steering wheel apart to a certified shop.

'96 jimmy's horn wont sound. Relays and fuses are ok and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong w/ the actual horns. Could this be related to a connection in the steering column or a small box locate

Are you sure the horns are ok? They are a pain to get at, but you should try a + jumper from your battery to a horn to make sure as they do tend to plug up with road crap. While you have the connector off a horn, you should also check the voltage with someone pushing the horn button. If both checks are successful, replace the horn relay.

When trying to start my 1999 GMC Jimmy I turn the egnition and all my aux. lights turn on and everything works, but there is no power going to my starter, it doesn't make the clicking sound and it...

check for power to starter solinoid, if power to there. then it has to be a bad starter solinoid or starter. checker solinoid first. if bad you will not hear any clicks or anything.
