When you go to your parts store to buy a battery they should have a book or a digital thing that you can use to find out what battery fits your car

(just remember what modol car it is as well as modol year and what size engine it has (ex: 5.7L V8)

i hope this helps

There is a starter relay--probably in the relay box by the battery. Swap the starter relay with the horn relay and try to start the car. If that works, replace the relay. If it doesn't work, please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6222268-engine_doesnt_crank_turn_over . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

Have you crossed the wires? If the starter solenoid is stuck, then replace it,and make sure there is ground to engine block, and to the frame, and body,be sure the connections are clean,,shiny clean, and tight, charge the battery up on a slow charge, for a couple of days,or replace the battery, low voltage will cause this situation.

thats a trial and error job. mark each pully as it is normally and then run a piece of sting to give you your length and possible route taking into consideration slack needed for belt tensioner to act properly
