Its your camshaft postion sensor. You have to change the whole sensor not just the cap. Around 50 bucks at o'riley's autopart store.

A little late for reply but if that light is blinking while running stop driving,this indicates a major problem with engine,you won't accelerate because PCM is in default mode.

My saturn 2.2 engine is hesitating when accellerating.


Possible there is tuning/timing issue on the engine and so it is best that you have the regular 15 point check up done on the engine so as to set the fuel and spark timing.
The fuel filter, the fuel pressure and the spark intensity at all RPM is to be checked and corrected.

You will have to get the trouble codes read to find out what is causing the vehicle to hesitate and the check engine light to illuminate.

try adjusting the throttle position switch very hard to adjust right car will hesitate , not idle properly and hesitate when accellerating if not adjusted properly.
