How to change a front wheel stud on a 2001 nissan xterra front 4 wd hub

None of those answers are correct, as they obviously have never worked on an Xterra. As an Xterra owner myself, and automotive TECHNICIAN... You need to remove the rotor/hub assembly. To do this, you will need a 6mm allen head to take out the 6 bolts holding your hub onto the assembly. Once this is off, you will have to remove a snap ring from around the CV axle input splines. Once that is off you will be able to remove the bearing assembly inside. Take a 14mm socket, and remove the 6 bolts holding the hub onto the rotor. You will also need to remove the caliper from the rotor, and hang it with a piece of wire up and out of the way, being sure not to let it hang free or drop. With the caliper off, and all the bolts out you should be able to remove the rotor/hub assembly from the CV splines. Then you can seperate the hub from the rotor, which will probably be rusted on (Cushion the face of the rotor on a towel, and being sure not to hit the rotor, hit the flat surface of the hub with a hammer which will break loose the rust). Tap the top of the old studs out thru the back of the hub...then tap the back of the new studs in. They need to be able not to slide in and out of the bore, but don't necessarily have to be flush with the hub. Once you get everything back together and tighten the lugs on, it will pull the studs the rest of the way thru the hub and seat them properly.

Hopefully this helps...There is no need to take it to a machine shop or do ANY kind of pressing in or out. There is NO giant hub nut and cotter pin to remove.

Need to know how to get to the emergency brake on an 2002 ford explorer behind the disk brake.(rear driver side)

First remove caliper slider assembly & caliper. Will need to probably spray penetrating oil around rotor hub. Hit rotor on side of hub with sledge hammer & it will slide off. Inside are your emergency brake shoes.

How do I change front hub and bearing assembly on 2004 Explorer

Front hub bearing, remove tire, remove caliper and caliper holding bracket, you do not have to remove brake caliper from brake hose, just set it aside, if 4X4 remove front axle nut that goes through center of rotor, also remove brake rotor, disconnect elec, A.B.S connector, remove three bolts on back side of hub bearing, remove hub bearing, some times you will need to knock hub bearing out with a hammer.Reverse to install new hub bearing.

Replace front hub assembly

I don't want to leave you hanging out there but you would be better off buying the repair manual for this repair.
You will have a little more to do if it is 4X4, But the jest of it is, first if it is 4X4, remove the nut that hold the CV axle into the hub, the wheel comes off, brake caliper is unbolted and moved out of the way, then the brake support bracket, then slide the spline of the CV inside the hub, Then remove the four bolts that hold the hub to the spindle. Then reverse for reassembly. Note: The hub may be rusted to the spindle so you may want to try soaking that area with a good penetrating oil.
Remember the repair manual. You will need it for the torque specs. for the hub, the brakes, the lug-nuts, and the nut for the CV.

Changing the rotors how do you get them off

remove the wheel, remove the brake caliper (whole) just remove the two mounting bolts that hold it to the "hub"
theres one or two screws in the face of the rotor, unscrew them, pull it off - a rubber mallet might help!
Clean up the hub with a wire brush before fitting the new rotor. screw in the 2 screws on the face of the new rotor. Fit new brake pads and squeeze the pistons open to slide the caliper and pads over the new rotor, refit the two mounting bolts to the brake caliper, press the brake pedal to seat the pads on the rotor. refit and tighten the wheel, go for short drive and test the brake gently, if all is fine start on the second rotor, just repeat the process again.
LEAVE FEEDBACK PLEASE! Good Or Bad.

2002 Nissan front speakers

You first have to take the screws out of the handle, then move the arm rest back and theres another one there. Now remove the screw that is in that triangle for the mirror, should be one little plastic piece. After that, start from the bottom and pop the panel off. Be carful. Once you get to the top then pull up on the panel and it will come off by the window. Now take out the cables so that you can remove the panel in full.
