Question about Mercedes-Benz E-Class

1 Answer

Hi, could someone help me please? I have w 210 1997, E200 (100 kW) for a year now. The front windows (together with power mirrors, door lamps, remote opening windows etc) haven't worked since we bought it. I was told to disconect battery for a 3 minutes because it probably get some memory problems. I did it several times, but everything that i said worked just for a day or two, and everything was stucked again. I don't know what to do any more. I went to service and they told me to change some windows modules. It is so expensive so I'm not sure about it. Power windows' motors is ok since it work for a while. I supose it is some electronical problem but which one? Is it really about this windows modules? I would like to share problem with someone who have the same, similar or just know about that things. Is something broken or the car just should be reprogrammed or something? Thank you sincerely

How do i remove the wing mirror (power adjust & power fold) on the ford f250 super duty?

Roll the window down first, you will need 2 hands. Pull the small cover off that is at the top front of the door pannel. You will then disconnect the wire connector and remove the three 11mm nuts that are holding the mirror in place. Pull mirror out and replace.

If you dont have just that little pannel you will have to remove the door pannel. If you dont have power windows pull the cover out on the window crank and move it to the side, there will be a screw holding the crank in place. Remove it. If you do have power windows remove the window control switch plate (it will just pop up using a small screwdriver) and disconnect the wires. If equipped, remove the front door trim panel reflector or the courtesy lamp lens. Then remove the screws. DO NOT pull directly outward on the door pannel, something will brake. Remove the front door trim panel by pulling it straight upward.Lift and remove the front door trim panel. Then the nuts holding the mirror will be visible, remove and replace the mirror.
