It's quite alot of work because it's in the gas tank and you have to pull the tank to change the pump.

If it leaking from the top of the tank, and only when it is full of fuel, it could be the vent valve. Are you sure its not the filler tube ?

Hi i just recently filled up my 94 jeep grand cherokke limited and now the gas light comes on and is showing that its on E....i dont understand whats the problem

Sounds like your float or sender unit in the tank is not registering the fuel level properly. They do go bad but the problem is the unit(fuel pump and sender) is one piece and has to be replaced together, unless you find someone willing to remove, separate and repair it.

I cant find the obd plug in on my 94 jeep grand cherokee laredo and my jeep will turn over but is hard to start what would cause this?

It does not have an obd11 connector, it's too old. The extended crank time could be a couple of things though. I've seen problems with fuel pumps, fuel pump relays and crankshaft sensors. How many miles on it? Has the fuel pump or filter been changed before?

Please how change the gas pump to my jeep cheroque limited 94,v8

This is very easy you first need to disconnect the battery. remove as much fuel as you can from the fuel tank. you will need help to lower the tank down to a little to remove the fuel hoses and wires. after you have the tank on the ground take a screw driver and small hammer to remove the fuel sending unit locking ring. remove the sending unit be carefull not to bend the float remove the pump and reverse the same process

My 94 jeep grand cherokee limited acted as though it was running out of gas then it died however it had plenty. now it starts some of the time and only stay running for a short while.

Sounds like a classic bad fuel pump...When the pump begins to fail, it overheats and binds. After a short wait, it cools off and runs again. However, a bad filter can often do the same thing. Replace the filter (good maintenence) and if the problem continues, change the pump.

It is not starting its like not catctching

94? I'd start looking towards a fuel pump. Listen for a 2 second buzz from the rear. If you don't hear it time to shop for a new fuel pump.P.S. Rarely is it a fuse.......
