Under dash passgener side you have the a/c drain, take off the panel to check it and unclogged.

What causes water to come in passenger footwell?

Is it fresh water or engine coolant? It may not be coming from the outside of the car. If your heater core has a leak, it may be leaking into the passenger compartment. If this is the case, you also run the risk of running low on engine coolant and overheating or damaging you engine.

Locate AC drain line

ac drain pipes are on the passenger side front floor area (just about where your feet go) under car when cars heater core gets a hole in it lots of times antifreeze will leak inside car on floor try to get a small sample of fluid thats leaking out with a tissue or something (white In color) see what color fluid is ,see if fluid is slippery like oil or not (rub it between fingers)
Antifreeze= orange or green in color
Transmission oil = red or brown
motor oil = brown to black
washer fluid = Blue or drk orange
ac condesate= clear water (cold)

Water leak passenger side floor board

Drain is likely plugged up. Clear it out with either air pressure or a coat hanger.

Leaking on the right side under the car they told me it might be the evaporator but I don't know where that is in my car I have a 1997 Ford Expedition, I don't even know what it looks like

The evaporator is located in the heater box, it is the AC's equivalent of a heater core. Water is a NORMAL by product of refrigeration, and the clear water must leak out to the ground.

I have water leaking in my car every time i turn on my ac. I need to fix it before it gets much worse, and living here in florida i have to run my ac all the time.

My recollection, 01 LW, is there is a drain hole in the engine compartment, bottom of the firewall, just forward of the passenger's feet. Condensation should be dripping out of that. Take it to a shop, have it put on a lift and run a big pipe cleaner in and out of there, something is blocking it. these cars are also prone to heater core leaks, are you sure it is water and not antifreeze?

Mazda Tribute. Water leak under driver's feet. Had similar leak on passenger's side and it was the air-conditioning. Could this be the same?

Generally, water on the passenger side is the A/C drain tube.
Driver side generally means widshield or sun roof seal leak.
Did you wash the Mazda or did it rain prior to puddling?
Before disassembling the windshield seal, test ... with a water hose (Remove floormat and place a towel on newspapers on the driver's side floor).
There is a "smoke" test" that can more accurately find the leak. See if you local AutoZone will rent one (maybe free) to you.

Water leaks in the passanger side floor

there is a hose that runs from the condensor under the dash on the passenger side, if you pull the carpet back you can see it. there is then a hole in the fire wall that this hose fits into. That will allow it to drain out of the vehicle and not let your passenger get wet feet. i hope this was helpful.
