My 1995 Mercury Villager driver's side window is undependable. Sometimes it won't go up or down and sticks in one position. Dealership says the "switch" needs to be replaced. If it is broken, though, how could the window be working part of the time?

1995 Mercury Villager shots down when i step on the break.

Be sure to ALWAYS have more than 1/4 of gasoline in your tank, this may be caused when having it below that. Also having less than 1/4 could damage your fuel pump wich is an expensive part, so it's good on taking care of it.
