The P0302 could be several things including but not limited to the following. Engine mechanical fault, a wiring problem, Could be an Ignition or fuel system problem, Could be a bad injector or bad ECT (Engine Coolant Sensor) or MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) or a problem with the ECM (Engine Control module)

Clearly this car is getting a bad air/fuel mixture. However i would not suggest that you jump to the conclusion of it being the fuel pump. I would suggest that you start by taking a fuel pressure test to find out if the pump is good or bad. The pressure should be around 45psi prior to start up and about 35psi when you start up. You can rent a fuel pressure gauge at autozone or you can have someone do a fuel pressure test at most independent shops.
If the fuel pressure tests fine you need to inspect the mass air flow sensor
