It sounds like both window regulators are bad. The window regulator in your car uses a cable and pulley setup. Often times the cable snaps or gets tangled in one of the pulleys causing the window to get stuck in the open or closed position. In the case of the cable snapping the window would be able to be moved up or down by hand. This can be confirmed by removing the door panel and moisture barrier and visually inspecting the regulator.

Dose one fuse control both power windows on 2005 town & countrry

Probably is only one fuse, just check all the fuses in the fuse box. Check for broken wire in the door jam, but you may need new window motor or new control switch on the armrest. Is there any noise from the door when you push the buttons? If you hear the motor running, then you need that track that pushes the window up and down.

Rover 45 drivers door window not working

its most likely the motor or the switch, I would start at the motor located inside the door, check to see if you get power when you press the switch. you can do this with a test light on the plug off the window motor. if you have power replace the motor. but if the motor is working and you would here it running if it dose that would indicate that the window tracks have fallen off, but the widow would fall down if that was the case

hello, try new switch, these power window motors seldom go out, i just replaced power window switches on a astro van, this lady had not rolled pass side window down in 2 years, put switch in a started working fine, if that dont work, you might have to replace window motor, get them at junkyard for 50.00 dollars. put them in is a different story.

Slow power windows

More than likely , but try some silicone spray down sides where window slides up & down, (felt) it may help lessen the load on the motor. I have extended the life by removing door panel & lubricating all the slides & guides the window runs up & down on. It may buy you some time anyway.
