2004 Honda odessy Took in for a recall, radio has not worked since.

During the recall work, the battery was probably disconnected. This will cause the security feature of the radio to disable it until the activation code is inserted. This code was given to you at the time of purchase by the dealer. If you don;t have, the dealer can supply it, The dealer should have ensured that the radio was working prior to your picking the vehicle up after the recall work, but these issues are often overlooked.

Car radio decoding

This sound silly, but look in the glovebox for a sticker with the code on it. Or in the manuals that came with the vehicle. It's a 5 digit number usually.

Transmission oil was low, so we added to fill level and it helped for 1st, and a little in 3rd, but still no 5th gear

Assuming this is a manual shift transmission then 5th has probaly melted due to no lube.5 th gear is smaller on the countershaft and does not dip into the sump as far.So it is the first to loose oil when trans is low.If this is a 5 speed auto like on the 04 up accords and odessy vans then clutches are most likely damaged.Either way you are gonna need transmission repair.Good luck!

Replace side passenger mirror 2000 Honda Odessy Van EX

You need to remove the internal door panel, then you can see the screw to remove the side mirror. Sometime you need to remove the glass before you can reach the screw.

I have a honda odessy 96 , changed the battery and now my radio asks for a code to work..i dont have any code. how can i fix it?

The only way to get the code you need is to go to the Honda dealership. Hopefully, with the VIN number of your vehicle, and possibly the serial number off the radio, the service department can research and find the number you need. This is an anti theft system, and it keeps theives from using or selling stolen radios.

Radio not working

You'll need to get the serial number (remove the radio it will be somewhere on the back) all your local Honda dealer and ask for service, they should be able to look up the code for you.
