Can someone please provide me the timing diagram or tell me how to reset the timing after the belt breaks or where the timing marks location is

Markings are usually on the Cam and Crank Sprokets. Not sure what car you are asking about but Most cars have interference engines which means If the Belt broke and wasn't being changed during regular maintenance then you probably bent some Valves in the Head. You have an expensive problem now

The Dodge Neon has an Interference engine. That means when the timing belt breaks, you likely have bent some valves. You will need to remove the head, and have the valves replaced. Best done by a qualified mechanic that knows how to replace the timing belt.

I just changed the timing belt on my 2002 legacy gt. but it won't start. Everything turns but It will not start. It broke while I was driving.

If you did not turn the crank to set the Top Dead Center of the first piston while putting on the new belt, then it won't start because the timing is wrong.
On the other hand, if you did a perfect job of resetting the camshafts while putting in the new belt, but the old belt broke while the engine was running, the valvetrain may be damaged already. Depending on which engine is in your legacy, it is likely an Interference engine, meaning that when the timing belt breaks and the pistons are going up while the valves are going down, they hit each other and the valves get bent. You can do a compression leakdown test to find out if this has happened to you.

Timing belt broke and should i put a belt on or is it junk does it usually bend valves

If the timing belt snapped, try to open ur valve cover, on top of ur engine, turn /rotate ur CAMSHAFT PULLEY and look at the valve if it still follows ur camshaft, going up and down. If it just been stuck and can't roate ur camshaft u have bent VALVES! Either u replace the entire valve set or u could buy in the junkyard the WHOLE CYLINDER HEAD assembly! Its ur choice, wutever is more cheaper! Then replace the timing belt, tensioner bearing and the head gasket! Next time, follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance period of 70,000km to replace timing belt! Hope that helps u out! Taah! i mean... Meow!

Honda died while on freeway

so you checked under the timing belt cover and found that your timing belt broke. you have an interference engine which means when the timing belt broke the pistons most likely hit against the valves which now means you most likely wil need valve/head replaced and t-belt replaced.

97 dodge neon timing belt broke while going down the road need to know how to get car back in time bought a new timing belt new tensioner and still cannont get car to start junk yard says my car does not...

I do not have good news for you.
According to the Gates Timing Belt guide 2002 Edition, both engines offered in the Dodge Neon are interference engines.
This means that your engine has likely sustained sgnificant valve, cylinder head or even piston damage. Have you tested the compression?
It is probably least expensive to buy a used engine, change its timing belt and replace your engine with that one.

The timing belt broke on my 95 eclipse gs how can i fix it??

I believe that you have what is called an 'interference engine', that means that if the timing belt breaks, the valves hit the pistons, and basically, the engine is junk at that point, as it would cost more to attempt to fix than to purchase a used or rebuilt engine.

Timing belt

The 2.7L engine uses a timing chain, which has no mileage recommendation on changing it. It is designed to last the life of the engine.
