Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT
There is no dip stick to check the transmission fluid, manual tells you to take it to a service shop. I have the same car as you.

There should be a long diptick which reached to the bottom of the engine block, this is motor oil. The transmission dipstick is very long as well, and transmission fluid is red.
